AN UNENJOYABLE TEA CEREMONY
We offered tourists a unique experience: a tea ceremony inside a special vehicle that simulates earthquakes.
Japan is one of the most earthquake-prone
countries in the world.
An earthquake occurs somewhere on
the archipelago approximately
once every 90 minutes.
Specialists say there is an 80% chance that
a massive earthquake on the scale of
magnitude 8 to 9, dubbed as the
“Nankai Trough Earthquake”,
will strike within the next 30 years.
When that happens,
you might be traveling in Japan,
or be in the middle of
a traditional cultural experience,
just like in this video.
But there’s no need to be overly afraid.
As long as you’re prepared and equipped
with the right knowledge,
you can still enjoy your time in
beautiful Japan.
We, the people living in this country,
are here to support you.
